Key Changes and Requirements
1. Tonnage Limit Increase
The tonnage limitation for existing management level NCV certificate holders is increased from 'Up to 3000 GT only' to 'Up to 6000 GT only'.
- Effective: 1st January 2015
- Implementation: Endorsement by MMDs during revalidation
New Tonnage Limit: Up to 6000 GT only
2. No Dispensation Required
Companies need not seek any dispensation or modification in safe manning documents to implement this circular.
