Key Changes and Requirements
1. Sea Service on Offshore Supply Vessels
Sea service on offshore supply vessels will be accepted at full rate as qualifying sea service.
- Note: This is in line with Para 7.5.1 of the Meta Manual Vol. I and does not correlate with 'Near Coastal Voyages'.
2. Sea Service on Dredgers
Sea service performed on dredgers will be accepted at two-thirds rate as qualifying sea service for eligibility for NCV certificates.
- Conditions: The class of service and the power of the ship must comply with the requirements specified in table 3 of Para 7 of section M-III-9 of the Meta Manual Vol. I.
