Key Changes and Requirements
1. Application Deadline Removal
The deadline for applying for Certificate of Competency (CoC) as Cook has been removed. Seafarers can now apply at any time.
2. Revised CoC Format
CoCs for Cooks will be issued in the revised format as per M.S. Notice No. 07 of 2014.
MLC, 2006 requires seafarers to be trained and qualified for their on-board position.
