Key Changes and Requirements
1. New Procedure for Certificate of Competency (COC) Issuance
Examination centers must forward results and documents to DGS by the 20th of the month following MEO exams. COCs will be dispatched within 10 days of result declaration.
- Result Approval: By the Chief Examiner at the end of the following month
- COC Dispatch: Within 10 days of result declaration
2. Changes to Oral Examination Application
Candidates can now apply for the oral examination in the following month, regardless of passing the written exam.
- Application Timing: In the following month, after written exam
Note: Unsuccessful candidates cannot sit for the examination in the consecutive month.
