Key Changes and Requirements
1. Submission of Placement Records
All pre-sea institutes are required to submit placement records of their passed-out batches for the last 3 years.
- Method: Online in e-samundra module and by email to dgstrg@gmail.com or fax
- Format: Prescribed format (see below)
- Deadline: Within 7 days
2. Summary of Placement Record
Institutes must also submit a summary of the placement record immediately to the Directorate by email or fax.
Format:
Name of the Institute
Name of the Course
Approved intake per batch
Table with columns: Sr.No., Date of commencement, Date of completion, No. of admitted students, No. of passed out students, No. of students actually placed onboard
Important Note
Failure to comply may result in appropriate action against defaulting institutes.
