Amendment-II to DGS Order No.6 of 2013 - Statutory Certification and Services of Indian ships by the Recognised Organizations (ROs) - reg

Applicable to: Recognised Organizations (ROs) serving Indian flag ships

Superseded Circulars: DGS Order No.6 of 2013 and its Amendment dated 28 March 2013

Key Changes and Requirements

The following changes have been made to the existing paragraphs 3.4 and 3.5:

3.4: Renewal of Load Line survey and issuance of full term Load Line Certificate is now exclusive to Indian Register of Shipping (IRS).
3.5: Annual Load Line survey can be undertaken by any RO of the Government of India. Upon completion, the RO should endorse the Load Line certificate and forward the reports to IRS for record updates.

ROs are required to comply with these amendments from the date of issue of this order.
