The National Maritime Day Celebrations (Central) Committee invites you to the Grand Finale on the occasion of the 51st NMDC on Saturday, 05th April, 2014, at 1600 hrs.

2. Program Schedule
- 1600 hrs: Chief Guest received by the members of the NMDC (Central) Committee
- 1601 hrs: Chief Guest inspects the guard of honour presented by the cadets of the IMU, Mumbai Campus
- 1605 hrs: Chief Guest escorted to the dais by the Chairman, NMDC (Central) Committee
- 1607 hrs: Lighting of lamp and invocation
- 1610 hrs: Floral bouquet presentation to the Chief Guest and other dignitaries
- 1615 hrs: Welcome address by Shri Arun Kumar Gupta, Chairman & Managing Director, Shipping Corporation of India
- 1625 hrs: Address by Shri Gautam Chatterjee, IAS, Director General of Shipping, Govt. of India
- 1635 hrs: Address by the Guest of Honour, Dr.(Capt.) P.S.Vanchiswar, Varuna Awardee
- 1645 hrs: Address by the Chief Guest, Shri Sumit Bose, IAS, Finance & Revenue Secretary, Ministry of Finance, Govt. of India
- 1705 hrs: Presentation of mementos
