Key Changes and Requirements
1. Revision of Rates for GP Ratings and CCMC Courses Exit Examinations
The rates for GP Ratings and CCMC Courses Exit Examinations have been revised based on the CPI-linked methodology. The new rates are as follows:
- GP Ratings: Rs. 2500 (inclusive of GST)
- CCMC Courses: Rs. 2500 (inclusive of GST)
2. Fee Remittance
MTIs shall remit Rs. 2200 per fresher candidate to BES and Rs. 300 per fresher candidate to DGMA.
- DGMA: Funds to be utilized for improving training standards
- BES: Funds to be utilized for strengthening maritime education, training, and governance

Important Note
The revised rates will come into effect from XX.XX.26 and shall not be revised for a period of five years unless under exceptional circumstances and formal approval of the STCW compliance Board and prior intimation to the Ministry of Ports, Shipping and Waterways.
