Key Changes and Requirements
1. Eligibility for SSO Course Approval
The requirement for conducting management level competency courses for more than one year's duration has been waived.
- Eligible Institutes: All MTIs approved for conduct of Management Level Competency Courses for CoC as Master, Chief Mate, Chief Engineer, and Second Engineer.
II/4 All approved MTIs can now apply for SSO Course approval.
Important Note
MTIs must apply for SSO Course approval in accordance with the partial modification to Para 2 (i) of Training Circular No.9 of 2011.
