Key Changes and Requirements
1. Fee Calculation
The 1% annual fee is now calculated on the actual fee collected from the admitted strength of each course batch.
- Fee Basis: Total fee (tuition + all other charges) collected from admitted students
2. Payment Method
MTIs must pay the 1% annual fee through an Account Payee Demand Draft in favor of the Director General of Shipping, Mumbai.
- Mode: Demand Draft only
- Payee: Director General of Shipping, Mumbai
- Accompaniment: Duly filled DCB proforma
Note: Non-compliance may result in course approval withdrawal and recognition institute.
