Eligibility for Approval of Security Training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties.

1. Eligibility Criteria Relaxed

The criteria for approval of the 'Security Training for Seafarers with Designated Security Duties' course has been relaxed. Now, all maritime training institutes approved by the Directorate General of Shipping are eligible to apply for approval, regardless of whether they conduct 'Competency or Preparatory courses for officers' and 'Pre-Sea Training courses' or not.
