Key Changes and Requirements
1. Revised Manning Scales
Revised manning scales for dredgers operating on the Coast of India are as follows:
- Dredgers of 3000GT and above: 1 Master, 1 Chief Officer, 2 Watch Keeping Officers
- Dredgers of less than 3000GT (smooth/partially smooth waters): 1 Master, 1 Chief Officer, 2 Watch Keeping Officers
Note: The above manning scales apply immediately. Compliance is required within 6 months.
Important Note
No dispensation applications will be entertained after 6 months from the issue of this circular.
