Key Changes and Requirements
1. Compliance with Revised Guidelines
MTIs must comply with revised guidelines issued by DG Shipping, even for courses already approved.
- Non-compliance: May result in nullification of approvals.
- Simulator Courses: Simulators must be IACS approved and comply with IMO specifications.
2. Transition Period
DG Shipping allows a one-time 3-month transition period (w.e.f. 01.05.2013) for MTIs to comply with revised guidelines.
MTIs must confirm compliance by 31.07.2013.
Important Note
Failure to comply with revised guidelines may lead to nullification of approvals.
