Key Changes and Requirements
1. New Application Procedure
The application procedure for Continuous Discharge Certificates (CDCs) of trainees completing pre-sea courses has been simplified.
- Key Changes: CDCs will be dispatched directly to trainees at their given address.
- Implementation: The new procedures apply to all pre-sea training courses completing from 2013 onwards.
2. Guidelines for Training Institutions
Training institutions should follow these additional guidelines:
- Form Submission: Submit Form 1 (offline) and Form 1&2 (online) together until the online form is revised.
- Envelope & Stamp: Include a self-addressed envelope with Indian postage stamp of Rs. 50/- for each trainee.
II/4 Revised Form 1 (offline) and Form 1&2 (online) should be submitted together.
Important Note
Training institutions who have already forwarded old Form II need not resubmit, but should follow other revised procedures.
