Key Changes and Requirements
1. Data Upload Guidelines — M. S. (RPS) Rules, 2005
RPS providers must upload seafarers' engagement data in Form III-A monthly, before the 10th of the succeeding month. Old data (prior to January 2010) should have been uploaded by December 2011.
- Monthly Upload Deadline: 10th of the succeeding month
- Old Data Upload Deadline: December 2011
2. Data Prior to RPS License
Data prior to obtaining RPS licenses should not be submitted in Form III-A. Such data will not be considered for sea service verification without thorough investigation and following guidelines from Crew Branch Circular No. 9 of 2007.
3. Data Submission and Verification
RPS providers must not upload seafarers' engagement data in Form III-A beyond the validity period of their RPS licenses. Non-compliance may attract action under M. S. (RPS) Rules. RPS providers and verification authorities must adhere to the guidelines for 'Commencement of Contract' column.
