Key Changes and Requirements
1. Eligibility Criteria Changes
The eligibility criteria for Electro-Technical Officers have been updated to remove inconsistencies and facilitate course eligibility.
- 10+2 Education: Passed with Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, and English, with a minimum of 50% in English.
- Diploma/Degree Courses: Passed with 60% marks (Diploma) or 50% marks (Degree), including lateral entry, in relevant engineering fields.
- Recognition: The diploma/degree courses must be recognized by any State or Central Government or the AICTE.
Note: These changes are effective from 21.05.2012.
