Key Changes and Requirements

1. New Enrollment Criteria

Aspiring candidates from support level (rating) background can now enroll in operational/advanced level STCW courses for officers.

  • Eligibility: Produce necessary supporting document issued by an approved assessment centre.
Note:  Training institutes can enroll such aspirants upon receiving the necessary document.
Important Note

Principal Officers, MMDs are to issue necessary certificates to bona-fide aspirants and provide guidance to approved institutes.
