Key Changes and Requirements
1. Extension of CDC Replacement Period
The deadline for applying for new CDCs has been extended to 31.12.13.
2. Procedures for Issuance of New CDCs
- i. Verify old CDC details with office records.
- ii. Retain unique CDC number of old CDC.
- iii. Applications received by post, CDCs issued by post.
- iv. Check recent documents for verification.
- v. Complete 4 STCW modular courses from approved institutes.
- vi. Obtain INDOS number and submit next of kin details.
