Key Changes and Requirements
1. Course Curriculum Revision
The course curriculum for the Two Years Marine Engineering Course has been revised to align with the 2010 Manila Amendments to the STCW Convention.
- Course Duration: 3111 teaching hours

- Syllabus: Annexure-II
2. Transitional Provisions
Candidates starting Pre-Sea courses after 1st July 2012 will follow the revised curriculum. Those starting before will need to upgrade their course or provide documentary evidence of STCW 2010 amendments inclusion.
