Revised Guidelines for Certificate Course in Maritime Catering
Key Changes and Requirements
1. Revised Learning Objectives
Learning objectives have been revised to eliminate ambiguity in teaching, learning, and assessment.
2. Modified Equipment List
The equipment list has been modified to state specifications and match the number of trainees at one time.
3. Compliance and Inspection
Existing training institutes must comply with the revised guidelines from the next course commencing in July 2010. After making the required changes, institutes should inform respective Academic Councils and invite them for inspection based on these guidelines.
Failure to comply with these revised guidelines may result in the suspension or withdrawal of approval for training institutes.
