1. Waiver of Teaching/Sea Service Experience
The Director General of Shipping has waived the teaching and/or sailing experience required for the approval of faculty teaching pre-sea officer level courses.
- MEO Class I [FG] or Master [FG]: Can teach relevant marine subjects without teaching experience.
- Non-marine subjects: No teaching experience required, but educational qualifications must meet UGC/AICTE norms.
