Key Changes and Requirements
1. Revalidation Requirements
Every Dredge Master and Dredge Mate must revalidate their CoC every 5 years to continue qualifying for dredge service.
- Interval: Not exceeding five years
- Service Requirement: One year of service on dredgers in the preceding five years
2. Application Process
Apply to Mercantile Marine Department (MMD) with required documents and fee.
- Documents: Copy of CoC, testimonials, other supporting documents
- Fee: Rs. 100/- payable to Principal Officer, MMD
- Format: Annex-I

Important Note
Officers must comply with the revalidation requirement to continue serving on dredgers.
