Key Changes and Requirements
1. Internship Details
Duration: Up to 6 months (initial 3 months, extendable by 3 months).
Objective: Exposure to maritime sector, including maritime law, marine science, environmental science, marine engineering, and related fields.
2. Evaluation Criteria
- Qualification
- Age (under 35 years encouraged)
- Academic Publications
- General Impression (Resume & Motivational Statement)
- Need at the Respective Branch/Wing
3. Application Process
Review eligibility criteria and terms in MS Notice DGS PB Circular 29 of 2024.
Download application form (Annexure-I) from the DGS website.
Submit completed application via email to personnel@dgshipping.gov.in by 30.12.2025.
Stipend & Certification Selected interns may receive a monthly honorarium and a Certificate of Internship upon completion.
