Key Changes and Requirements
1. Restriction Extension
The restriction on new approvals for GP Rating and Certificate Course in Maritime Catering is extended for a further period of 12 months from 11th May 2008.
- No new proposals: from any new training institute for fresh approvals.
- No capacity augmentation: proposals from existing institutes will not be entertained.
2. Feedback Required
Registered Manning Agents of INSA/MASSA/FOSMA/DPS are requested to provide feedback by 30th June 2008 in the specified format.
- Format: Name of the Company, Contact Person, Email, Present slots available, Attrition rate, New Ship acquisition, Corresponding augmentation in the placement of ratings, Remarks.
Important Note
This circular comes into force with immediate effect and shall be valid for a further period of 12 months.
