Ship owners, Managers, Masters, Officers and Deck Cadets of vessels engaged in Near Coastal voyages

Key Changes and Requirements
1. Objective and Scope
This Notice aims to develop the NCV officer cadet scheme for cadets undergoing the Structured Ship Board Training Programme (SSTP).
- Applicable: Deck Cadets on Near Coastal voyages
- Training: SSTP approved by DGS for NCV certification
2. Training Record Book
The Training Record Book for NCV deck cadets is prescribed in Annex I.
Companies/Training Institutes conducting SSTP using the approved training record book must submit their training plan/procedure to the Directorate.
