New Proposed Guidelines for ATS Course-curriculum - for new batches.

Key Changes and Requirements

The ATS course-curriculum has been updated to bring candidates with MEO Class IV certificates at par with other streams.

First year: 12 months of training time at the institute remains unchanged.
Second year: 9 months of training time at sea on board a ship remains unchanged.
Third year: Training time increased to 11 months, including the 2 months ATS bridging course syllabus.

Note: This change obviates the need for ATS trainees to undergo a 6-month training course to appear for Class II examinations.
