Key Changes and Requirements
1. Online Submission of Articles of Agreement
The Directorate has developed an e-module for submitting Articles of Agreement online. The pilot run has been successful and the program is expected to launch by the end of August 2007.
- Action Required: Shipowners/RPS providers must obtain a user ID and password for online submission by sending an email to savita@dgshipping.com.
- Compliance: Compliance with this requirement will be verified during Flag State inspection, ISM Audit, and Shipping Master's office inspections.
- Temporary Procedure: Until the online submission is fully operational, shipowners/RPS providers must first submit the relevant copies of Articles of Agreement to the office of SPFO and SWFS, and then submit them to the Shipping Master along with the duly acknowledged copy from SPFO & SWFS.
