Key Changes and Requirements
1. New Online Application Procedure
Training Institutes (TIs) and Govt. Shipping Offices (GSOs) are to follow the new online application procedure for issuing Continuous Discharge Certificates (CDCs).
- TIs: Register on www.dgshipping.com, submit Form-I online, and Form-II online and in hard form.
- GSOs: Process online applications and dispatch CDCs to TIs.
2. Phase-wise Implementation
The new procedure is implemented phase-wise, starting with TIs associated with GSOs in Mumbai, Kolkata, and Chennai.
II/4 This notice may be amended for compliance as may be required under the rules from time to time.
Important Note
Training Institutes are required to obtain and submit verification reports of School Leaving Certificate (SLC) and Mark Sheet as part of due diligence in Form II.
