Scheme for Internship at Directorate General of Shipping, MoPSW, GOI
Key Changes and Requirements
1. Eligibility & Duration
Eligible candidates must be Indian nationals with a Bachelor's degree or higher in relevant disciplines such as law, naval architecture, environmental science, marine engineering, marine sciences, nautical science, maritime management, or other related fields.
- Duration: 3 to 6 months
- Number of Interns: Up to 6 per year
2. Application & Selection
Interested candidates should submit their applications using the prescribed Application Proforma (Annexure-I), available on the Directorate General of Shipping website. Selection will be based on evaluation of qualifications, experience, and overall suitability.
3. Stipend & Certificate
Interns may receive an honorarium of INR 10,000/- per month, subject to satisfactory work performance. Upon successful completion, a certificate of Internship will be awarded.
