Key Changes and Requirements
1. New Applications Suspended — until further notice
Until the Government considers the recommendations of the marine training review committee, no new applications will be accepted for:
- New institutes — establishment of new training facilities
- New courses — introduction of new training programs
- Additional intake — increase in student capacity for existing courses
Important Note
This order is effective immediately and has been approved by the Director-General of Shipping and ex-officio Additional Secretary with the Government of India.
