Key Changes and Requirements
1. Training or Examination
Officers can either undergo a 3-day course on Indian Maritime Legislation or appear for an oral examination at the Mercantile Marine Department.
- Training: 3-day course conducted by LBS CAMSAR
- Examination: Oral examination at Mercantile Marine Department
2. Endorsement
Upon successful completion of the course or examination, officers will be issued an I/10 Endorsement under STCW-78 as amended.
