Key Changes and Requirements
1. Annual SMS Report Submission
Classification societies (R.O.s) must submit the following reports to DGS immediately after annual surveys:
- 1 - Master's review report on ISM implementation
- 2 - Internal audit report
- 3 - Outstanding NC closure reports
- 4 - Reports of detention due to Flag State or Port State Control inspections
2. Company Responsibilities
Companies and Masters must cooperate and make the required reports available to classification society surveyors for submission to DGS.
Additionally, all shipping companies must forward reports of detentions under Flag State and Port State Control inspections along with analysis to ISM cell (DGS).
