Key Changes and Requirements

Class III COC holders with 2+ years as Chief Engineer under NCV are eligible for a 3-month course covering Code A-III/3 and A-I/3 of STCW 95.

Course Duration: 3 months
Examination: Pass a written exam at an approved training institution/MMD
Qualification: Obtain Class III Chief Engineer COC for vessels less than 6000 KW under NCV
