Key Changes and Requirements
1. CDC Issuance for Serving Naval Officers
Serving naval officers can obtain a Continuous Discharge Certificate cum Seafarers' Identity Document (CDC) by submitting:
- A copy of: the letter of "Voluntary retirement" attested by the concerned Head Quarters, Naval Command
- The: prescribed application form for CDC
2. CDC Issuance for Retired Naval Officers
Retired naval officers can also obtain a CDC.
3. CDC Category
The Shipping Master will issue the CDC in the category of "Officer".
