Key Clarifications and Requirements
1. Applicability of Age Restrictions and CAP 2 Rating
The age restrictions and Condition Assessment Programme (CAP) 2 Rating requirements apply only to crude oil carriers and product tankers on international voyages to and from Indian ports.
- Indian flag vessels on coastal voyage: Not required to have CAP 2 Rating.
