Key Changes and Requirements
1. New Approval Process for ISPS Course Institutes
The Directorate General of Shipping has decided to consider requests for fresh approval to conduct ISPS courses from institutes that have obtained benchmarking certificates from recognized rating agencies.
- Application: Institutes should apply to the Directorate, enclosing a copy of their benchmarking certificate.
- Fees: Fees will continue to be governed by earlier M.S. Notices on the subject.
Note: Institutes should have obtained a reasonably good grade in their benchmarking certificate.
