Key Changes and Requirements
1. New Order Issuance Process
Hard copies of orders will no longer be issued to save time, stationery, and government expenditure.
- New Process: Orders will be issued electronically and posted on the DGS website.
2. Accessing New Orders
New orders can be accessed on the DGS website under the 'News' section, which remains flagged for a week.
- Websites: http://www.dgshipping.com or http://dgshipping.gov.in
- Access: 24 hours a day, 7 days a week
3. Group Notifications
Organizations can register with the Directorate to receive group notifications for relevant orders.
- Registration: Forward details to dgship@dgshipping.com, indicating relevant orders/instructions.
Important Note
It is the responsibility of all concerned to continuously update information about orders issued by the Directorate by accessing the DGS websites regularly.
