Uploading of Batch details in e-gov module for conduct of classes

1. Extension for Pre-Sea Course Students without Passport

MTIs can now extend the time for uploading batch details for Pre-Sea courses from 15 days to 6 months from the course commencement date for students who do not possess a passport at the time of admission.

• Action: MTIs must submit details of such candidates (Name, Date of Birth, Course Name) within 15 days from the Batch Start date to the Training Branch.
• Permission: Once the candidate receives their passport, MTIs can request back date permission to enter batch details with retrospective effect.

2. Exception Handling on e-Governance Portal

The e-governance portal will record exceptions for candidates who receive back date permission. This will be granted only after receipt of the passport and INDOS generation.
