1. Monthly Tonnage Position
The monthly statement of Indian flag vessels' tonnage position as of 31.03.2024 has been released.
- Coastal Trade: 1039 vessels, 17,22,460 GT, 20,35,613 DWT
- Overseas Trade: 1527 vessels, 13,753,704 GT, 20,808,645 DWT
- Indian Controlled Tonnage (ICT): 3 vessels, 41,070 GT, 70,129 DWT
2. Additions and Deletions
The following vessels were added or deleted in March 2024:
- Added (Coastal/Overseas): 1/9 vessels, 499 GT/2,61,618 GT
- Deleted (Coastal/Overseas): 1/5 vessels, 295 GT/56,003 GT
