Key Changes and Requirements
1. Mandatory Online Training — DG Shipping Circular 5 of 2024
All Indian seafarers are required to complete the mandatory online training program on the CMMI portal.
- Training Duration: 3 months from the effective date
- Penalty for Non-Compliance: Suspension of Certificate of Competency
II/4 Mandatory online training on the CMMI portal
Important Note
Failure to complete the training within the specified timeframe may result in suspension of Certificate of Competency.
