Addendum 1 to DGS Circular No. 03 of 2023 dated 13.01.2023 - Modification of Online e-governance module for the processes pertaining to Recruitment and Placement of Seafarers License (RPSL)

Applicable to: RPSL Companies, Ship-Owners, and concerned RPSL

Key Changes and Requirements

The Directorate has introduced an online process for handling specified cases where all mandatory documents for ship details may not be available.

Applicable Cases: Change of ship name, management, owner, flag, shipyard delivery, non-MLC flag ships, and MLC-exempted ships.
Procedure: Visit www.dgshipping.gov.in, navigate to 'e-Governance', login, and submit the application under 'Specified cases - Submit application'.
Document Submission: Upload required documents as per the specified case category.
Approval and Validity: Approved applications will add a new record to the RPS profile, valid for 30 days.
