Key Changes and Requirements
1. Revalidation Course Requirements
A 3-day revalidation course (24 hours) is now mandatory for revalidation of all Nautical grade COCs.
- Course Duration: 3 days (24 hours)
- Course Syllabus: Annexure-I
- Course Certificate Format: Annexure-II
2. Approved Training Institutes
All Maritime Training Institutes approved for 'Refresher and Upgrading Training Course' are considered approved for this revalidation course.
II/4 Revalidation of COCs
Important Note
This course is separate from 'Refresher and Updating Training' required for transition to STCW 2010 amendments.
