Key Changes and Requirements
1. Suspension of Previous Notice — MS Notice No. 04 of 2022
The Directorate General of Shipping has received representations from stakeholders regarding issues faced during the implementation of MS Notice No. 04 of 2022 and its subsequent clarifications. Therefore, the said notice is hereby kept in abeyance until further orders.
2. Re-validation Procedure
All Maritime Administration Departments (MMDs) are advised to follow the procedure for re-validation of certificates of competencies that existed immediately prior to the issuance of MS Notice No. 04 of 2022.
