Applicable to: All Maritime Training Institutes (MTIs)

Effective Date: 2021-07-31

Key Changes and Requirements

All approved STCW courses up to 2 weeks in duration, which were part-held due to COVID-19 closures, must be completed in entirety by MTIs.

Methodology: Three/Two/One Tier as per Annexure of DGS Order No. 40 of 2020
Action: MTIs must upload batch details afresh for interested candidates
Courses: More than 2 weeks duration can resume from where they were suspended
