Refresher Training in PSCRB (Course Id: 6212) and Refresher Training in AFF (Course Id: 63 l2)

Key Changes and Requirements

The entry standards for advanced tanker courses have been amended.

Basic Tanker Course: Possession of a DGS approved Basic Tanker Course now permits entry into the respective Advanced course.
No Sea Time Required: Candidates without sea time in respective tankers can attend advanced training courses for knowledge upgrade.
No Advanced Endorsement/DCE: Candidates without 3 months sea time will not be eligible for Advanced Tanker Endorsement or Dangerous Cargo Endorsement (DCE).

The qualifications for Course-in-charge have been updated. They must now hold either a Certificate of Competency as Master (FG) OR MEO Class I (FG).

Note: This circular comes into force with immediate effect.

Important Note

Candidates without the required sea time will not be eligible for Advanced Tanker Endorsement or Dangerous Cargo Endorsement (DCE).
