Key Changes and Requirements
1. Refresher Training Changes
The DGS has decided to revert to the previous training structure, withdrawing the combined refresher courses for PST & PSCRB and FPFF & AFF.
- PSCRB Refresher: Now includes PST competencies
- AFF Refresher: Now includes FPFF competencies
2. Training Requirements
Officers and Deck ABs must complete:
- Refresher Training in PSCRB (Course ID: 6212)
- Refresher Training in AFF (Course ID: 6312)
Ratings (other than Deck AB) need only to complete:
- Refresher Training in PST
- Refresher Training in FPFF
II/4 and II/3 Certificates of Proficiency are required for Refresher Training in PSCRB and AFF respectively.
Important Note
Seafarers must complete the refresher training within the specified 5-year period to maintain their CoP.
