Key Changes and Requirements
1. Extension of COVID-19 Measures — Extension of certain provisions
The validity of certain documents has been extended due to COVID-19. This includes CoC, GMDSS, and safety-related certificates.
- Validity: Extended until 31.12.2021
2. Training and Certification Updates — Changes in training and certification requirements
The requirements for training and certification have been updated. Seafarers should ensure they meet the new requirements.

II/4 Mandatory Safety Training
Important Note
Seafarers must complete the mandatory safety training before joining a ship. Failure to do so may result in penalties.
