Key Changes and Requirements for External Examiners Approval
1. Streamlined Approval Process
The approval process for external examiners has been simplified to create a larger pool of examiners and ensure timely conduct of CoC examinations.
- Minimum Qualifications: Updated qualifications and experience requirements for MEO Class IV, II, and I examiners (Annex II).
- Training Schedule: Mandatory training participation for new and existing examiners.
2. Application and Recommendation Process
Applicants must submit the following documents to their respective organization heads:
- Annex I: Application for nomination as external examiner.
- Annex V: Declaration form.
Organization heads must recommend eligible candidates using Annex III and submit it along with the application and declaration form.

Important Note
Existing approved external examiners will continue to be approved unless informed otherwise in writing.
