Key Changes and Requirements
1. Extension of Certificate Validity
The validity of Certificates of Competency (CoC) and Certificate of Proficiency (CoP) is extended for one month, from 31.10.2020 to 30.11.2020, for masters and officers who joined or will join ships on or before the new cut-off date.
- Condition: Seafarers must demonstrate continuous professional competence as per Annex I of DGS Order 26 of 2020 from the date of joining.
DGS Order 33 of 2020 replaces Paragraph 8.1 of DGS Order 26 of 2020
Important Note
All other conditions stated in DGS Order 26 of 2020 remain unchanged.
