Standardization of Admission Schedule and Batch numbering system for Competency Courses

Key Changes and Requirements
1. Standardized Admission Schedule
The commencement date for all competency courses is now standardized. See Annexure-I for the schedule.
2. Batch Numbering System
The batch number for candidate admission and uploading batch details is now standardized. See Annexure-2 for the list of batch numbers.
- Column A & B: Applicable for MTIs with one or two class rooms for Foreign Going competency courses.
- Column C & D: Applicable for MTIs with one or two class rooms for Non-Container Vessel (NCV) competency courses.
3. Batch Capacity and Completion
- Batch Capacity: MTIs shall not exceed the approved intake capacity per batch for any competency course.
- Course Completion: Candidates must complete the full course within the same batch without any break.
